Samuel Francis Daunis Dunning is a New York City-based Actor and Model.

He has appeared in multiple leading roles in major network television shows, most notably as Thomas Jefferson on Fox's "Legends and Lies: The Patriots" (2016) and as Charlie Ford on AMC's "The American West"(2016).

Most recently he completed production on "Rick and Ruby", a short film he wrote, produced, and starred in. It will be premiering later in 2019 on the festival circuit along with two other short films he starred in, John Hein's "Leech" and Lindsay Van Dyke's "Rejectors", the latter premiering at Lighthouse International Film Festival. He also was a lead in the Crypt TV miniseries "Mordeo", premiering in January, and two more short films, Chris Bonafede's "The Trojan" and Freddy Hernandez's "Hours of Operation" to premiere at festivals either this or next year.

Samuel has trained extensively at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop in New York City for the last four years, moving into the Tuesday Master Class three years ago. Before that he graduated NYU: Tisch School of the Arts and holds a BFA in Film Production and Direction.

Samuel has also worked as a print and runway model for top fashion brands such as Ralph Lauren, Billy Reid, Stetson, and more. 

Originally hailing from Brunswick, Maine, Samuel moved to New York City 12 years ago and never left.
